Mr. Chandra Mohan, an accomplished leader in IT Industry, has 40+ years of Global experience in designing end-to-end technology strategy aligned to business requirements across an array of industries, including 14 years in a highly complex, dynamically changing and fastest growing Telecom environment.
In his career span, he has held several leading positions in top notch organisations across industries some of which are Vodafone, Escorts, Birla Corp, Texmaco, Thomson Press (India Today Group), Bharat Aluminium (now Vedanta), Alliance Mills etc.
As IT Director of Vodafone India, he ensured IT transition and transformation to manage the subscribers growth due to M&A and green field expansions, from less than a million to nearly 100 million subscribers. Subsequently he served Vodafone Plc as IT Transformation Program Director for Global Operations and created a best-in-class Technology Shared Service Centre in India to serve to Vodafone Operations across the Globe, helping Vodafone to optimise Cost and achieve better SLAs.
He has extensive experience in creating the IT set-up from scratch into large scale Digitally integrated set-ups. Has been instrumental in Formulation & implementation of IT Strategy across Applications, Infrastructure, Digital Transformation, Cloud & infrastructure, Emerging technology, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Cyber Security, ERPs, Enterprise, Telecoms IT, Transition, Data centre, Shared Service Centre, Outsourcing, Program Management, Vendors Management, Change Management across Industries. He has the breadth and depth of experience to bring thought leadership to any IT Transformation programme
